March 26th. New release "Dangerous Extemporization" is released and will be available digitally soon. Have been recording new material as well. Sequencers and guitars.
Been thinking of my catalog...566 published recorded songs. 42 releases since 1978 with the name Jim Jacobi/Crap Detectors/Jojakimbi band.
JUNE 2019..Still working on new material with sequencers and guitars.
July: The recording may be finished but work on covers and maybe video will begin. Was going to title it "Synthisizers, whiskey and a guitar" but now I am thinking "The hypnotic eye never lies:
covers and mixing done will send it off for pressing soon...August 3.

Hypnotic eye is out and working on new recording. It has lyrics and so far guitar/bass/drums with the exception on tiny bit of synth at end of one one song and organ on another. Jan. 11Oct. 2019
Most of new project has been recorded. It will be titled "Reality in Chains" Once again I am on all instruments and vocals with the exception of Joe on Sax. Now 43 releases with 577 songs recorded. Nov. 24
New CD is out but not in CD baby yet..Been batting my brains out with new web site stuff.Hope to get a clear shot at doing editing to it soon.Jan. 11, 2020
NEW CD --MAY 2022 "Is this how it ends?" An assortment of new material based on the reality or non reality of the beginning of 2022.The political offerings are grim as well as any hope for a wonderous new future. IT IS NUMBER 49
AUGUST 2020 The pandemic rolls on. Been recording a sort of story about my experiences and feelings on a daily/monthly basis. Hopefully a new release will come from this.
September 2020. New CD will be out digitaly this month "ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE AND DON'T KNOW IT"14 fun filled sons and noise directed at the life in the pandemic.
JUNE 2021: BEGINNING WORK ON NEW PROJECT. HAVE 9 NEW SONGS RECORDED EVEN THOUGH ALL MIGHT NOT BE USED.IT'S JUST A START BUT SOMETHING TO KEEP ME MOVING FORWARD..
OCTOBER 2021...FINISHING CD "ABNORMAL" Will be released soon. Also working on Electronic music release titled "Electrose". GOT TO KEEP BUSY RECORDING/EDITING ETC. FUN STUFF.
